Glenda Roach is a prolific painter whose creative impulses move her
into many other areas including sculpture, collage and works in
fabric. She is well known for her highly imaginative watercolors,
which are detailed and vivid. She describes her approach in these
words: Art, whether drawing, sculpting, or painting is very much a
matter of the heart and head working together. I have been taught
the rules and now I enjoy toying with the rules. The fundamentals
are such a must. Sound drawing is so important and the joy of
creativity is the spice that makes my work my own. I satisfy myself
when I create a work of art and if people are moved by a certain
piece that is added pleasure. Glenda is an award-winning artist who
continually searches for new ways to extend her work. |
